announced that it would no longer sell and produce
Vixion R
in the country.The only remaining model of this naked sports motorbike is the standard Vixion version.
Rifki Maulana, Public Relations Manager, YRA & Community Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (YIMM), said that the decision to ‘inject’ the Vixion R to death took place this year.However, it certainly didn’t explain when, including the reasons for the decision.

“So there is still a standard version of Vixion. There is no longer the R version,” he added.

With this decision, the choice of Yamaha 150 cc sports motorbikes in Indonesia will automatically decrease.The manufacturer will only rely on the three remaining models whose demand is claimed to be high.
“We currently still (rely on) the standard Vixion, XSR, R-series and WR-series. Those are all still there,” he said.
Even though it has been euthanized, the Vixion R still appears on the official Yamaha Indonesia website.It is suspected that the company just needs to use up the remaining stock at every dealer in Indonesia.
Vixion R is priced starting at IDR 34 million with status on the road in Jakarta.Meanwhile, there are two color choices, namely black and red.
This motorbike uses a larger engine than the standard version.The manufacturer has equipped it with a SOHC engine with a capacity of 155.1cc with liquid cooling and variable valve actuation or VVA technology.This provision makes the motorbike capable of producing 14.2 kw and 14.7 Nm of power.
