VinFast
introduced Limo Green 7 seaters at the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) automotive exhibition, ICE BSD, Tangerang, Friday (21/11).
Chief Executive Officer of VinFast Indonesia, Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto or familiarly called Kerry, admitted that he was optimistic about the opportunities in the Indonesian market for 7-seater cars.

“Yes, because we see that the term market niche is still quite large, and also especially for the needs of ride hailing, online taxis and so on, and also for example for Indonesian people in the regions. We see that the need is still for 7-seaters so we see that we have to complement that segment,” said Kariyanto.

VinFast is currently collaborating with Green SM, a taxi company from Vietnam which has officially been operating in Indonesia since last year.
Although there has been no leak regarding the price of Limo Green, this model is planned to be produced at the VinFast factory located in Subang and is scheduled to be officially launched in March 2026 in Indonesia.
In line with ‘forward together’ which is its slogan, VinFast invites Indonesian consumers to propose names for Limo Green.
“We also want to invite the creativity of the Indonesian people to come up with a name for the VinFast Limo variant which will be present in Indonesia next year,” he said.
“You can convey your idea for the name of the VinFast Limo variant which will be specifically marketed in Indonesia to our staff at the VinFast booth or send it online,” he explained.
Limo Green has recorded good sales performance in Vietnam.More than 6,500 units of this 7 seater MPV were sent in just three months.
Apart from that, VinFast also showed off the VF Wild Concept at GJAW 2025, a dashing electric pickup-type concept car.This pickup is still in the development stage and it cannot be predicted when it will enter production.
