Indonesia closed 2025 with a series of momentum achievements, starting from the safety education program at GIIAS 2025 to the launch of the newest Kuzer SKE 150 light transport truck.
President Director of UD Trucks Indonesia Johan Kleinsteuber said that various achievements throughout 2025 helped build the foundation for the company’s long-term transformation.

“2025 shows that Indonesia is entering a new logistics era, faster, smarter and more sustainable. Our role is to be a partner who is present at every stage of the customer journey, from driver training to vehicle innovation,” said Johan, in a written statement on Monday (15/12).
“We believe the future of Indonesia’s transportation is built from a combination of technology, partnerships and the courage to change,” he added.

The safety education program during GIIAS 2025 takes place through driving technique training sessions, introduction to modern safety features, and direct interaction with the automotive community.
Deputy President Director and Director of Marketing and After Sales Services at UD Trucks Indonesia Hadi Lim said the company’s biggest contribution is its commitment to improving human quality.
“Safety is not just technology, but habit. This year we are strengthening our commitment to empower Indonesian drivers to be better prepared to face the demands of modern industry,” said Hadi.
Drivers get a direct impact from this program, especially understanding braking techniques, fatigue management, daily vehicle inspections, as well as utilizing ESCOT and My UD Fleet as the latest technology to increase efficiency.
The next momentum was the launch of the Kuzer SKE 150 light transport truck. Indonesia became the second country in Southeast Asia to launch this truck with a Euro 4 engine.
This engine, which is equipped with EGR + DOC technology, provides a balance between performance, fuel efficiency and low emissions.A combination that is suitable for field operational needs, from urban distribution to mining and plantations.
According to the CEO of Astra UD Trucks, Winarto Martono, this launch indicates Astra UD Trucks’ consistency in maintaining the company’s quality.This consistency is also increasingly clear with the success of Astra UD Trucks in winning awards from Japan.
“This commitment to quality is also reflected in our achievements at the global level, where Astra UD Trucks won the 2025 Quality Assurance Awards from UD Trucks Corporation in Japan,” said Winarto.
“This award is recognition of our consistency in implementing global quality standards, starting from the sales process, after-sales service, to customer satisfaction,” he concluded.
