Toyota’s largest dealer network in the country, Auto2000, ensures sales
Veloz
nonhybrid will end after the stock of units they have runs out. From this it can be seen that Toyota will only sell the hybrid Veloz, which was launched last month.
Auto2000 CEO Anton Jimmy said that his party no longer accepts supplies of conventional models from Brand Holder Agents (APM), after the hybrid variant was launched on November 21.Currently the remaining units are only spread across sales networks outside Jakarta in limited numbers.

“You could almost say it’s gone, in Jakarta you could say it’s gone. Just stay in the area,” said Anton when met at BSD Tangerang, Saturday (6/12).
“So there aren’t many of them and there’s no longer any supply,” said Anton.

Anton added that the company’s focus on Veloz is only for hybrid engines. This means that consumers who are interested in buying a conventional model will be directed to buy its twin, the Toyota Avanza.
“Veloz’s focus is on hybrids, there are no nonhybrids,” he said.
This news was previously revealed by a Toyota salesperson who was met at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) booth at the end of November 2025.
He said the conventional Veloz model would later be euthanized. This step means the company is only focused on marketing the Veloz Hybrid in Indonesia.
“So now we just use up the remaining stock,” said he, who did not want to be named, at ICE BSD Tangerang, Tuesday (25/11).
To use up remaining stock, he explained that dealers are offering discounts for non-hybrid Veloz with discounts of up to IDR 30 million. This discount could be bigger depending on the final agreement with the prospective buyer and dealer.
Currently the conventional Veloz is sold from IDR 297.2 million to IDR 346.4 million, while the cheapest hybrid variant is sold for IDR 299 million until December 31 2025.
“The discount is up to IDR 30 million, and it is said that this car is no longer produced,” he said.
This statement is in line with what Henry Tanoto, Vice President of Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) said on the sidelines of the launch of the Veloz Hybrid last weekend.Henry indicated that conventional Veloz production would be stopped.
“At the moment it is still there. But when the time comes, we will inform you later,” said Henry.
