Kijang Innova Reborn
once again through a refreshing facelift.This decision was taken after the Innova Zenix officially launched in 2022.
The company admits that so far it has no intention of ending sales or ‘dead’ the Innova Reborn.The reason is, demand for this model is still very high.

“Demand for this model is still quite strong in several regions. Innova Reborn remains the ultimate MPV for customers who need comfort and toughness to face various road conditions, thanks to the RWD configuration, ladder-frame platform and diesel engine,” said Jap Ernando Demily, Marketing Director of Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) via short message, Tuesday (2/12).
“Because of this, Toyota is providing a series of updates so that this model remains relevant to current trends and evolving customer needs,” he said again.

Even so, according to Jap, his party is still trying to expand its line of environmentally friendly vehicles, one of which is through the Innova Zenix Hybrid.Toyota is also committed to responding to customers’ diverse mobility needs.
“By providing a choice of vehicles with various technologies, we can meet customer needs in a wider segment,” said Jap.
Based on Jap’s previous statement, Reborn’s sales portion currently reaches 45 percent, while the rest is Zenix.The majority of orders for the Reborn model still come from outside Java, such as Sumatra.
“The Reborn portion is around 45 percent. Because we see that there is still quite a high need for this model, especially outside Java, such as Sumatra, as well as mostly rural areas,” said Jap last August.
Innova Reborn facelift
Innova Reborn, the generation of Innova before Zenix, currently only has one variant available, namely G, which has received a facelift.Changes to the 7 passenger MPV which shares the platform with the Hilux and Fortuner include the exterior and interior.
First, the trapezoidal grill is now equipped with three gray bars combined with a black bezel layer.This change creates a more striking appearance than the previous design.
Second, the main lights are made with sharp angles and a distinctive shape.Third, the rear emblem has now been repositioned, while the variant emblem and engine code have been removed.
The only emblem currently attached is the words Kijang Innova, located on the bottom side of the left rear light.
Fourth, the rim design is a combination of two colors, namely black and silver.
Entering the interior, there is a fifth change in the form of a new nine-inch touch screen that has smartphone connectivity.Sixth, the dashboard interior is equipped with new wood panels to add an elegant impression.
Apart from that, the seat fabric pattern has been revised along with black armrests.
This car is only available with one diesel engine option, 2 GD FTV 4 Cylinder in-line, 16 valve DOHC with VNT Intercooler 2,500 cc which can produce 149 PS at 3,400 rpm and 36.7 kgm of torque at 1,200-2,600 rpm.
To channel power and torque to the rear wheels, there are two transmission options, namely manual and automatic in this car.
Toyota on its official website markets the Innova Reborn G manual for IDR 416.6 million and automatic for IDR 437.5 million.
