Pajero Sport has been around for 15 years and has become one of Mitsubishi’s iconic vehicles.This SUV has a fierce appearance and a powerful engine, suitable for use on all road contours in Indonesia.
In Indonesia, the Pajero Sport is available in two engine choices.In the Dakar variant, this SUV is equipped with a 2,442 cc 4N15 engine with Euro 4 diesel turbo intercooler and 4-cylinder configuration.
The power produced by this engine reaches 181 PS with a peak torque of 430 Nm.The engine can provide strong and responsive acceleration, ideal for off-road terrain and long distance travel.

Meanwhile, the Exceed and GLX variants use an engine coded 4D56.

This engine has a capacity of 2,477 cc with a Euro 4 turbo intercooler diesel, also with a 4-cylinder configuration.The power produced is smaller, namely 136 PS with a maximum torque of 324 Nm.
For manufacturers, this engine is designed to provide a balance between performance and fuel efficiency, or is suitable for everyday use.
Rifat Sungkar, Brand Ambassador for Mitsubishi Motors Indonesia, said that the combination of these two engines ensures that this SUV model can meet various driver needs.
“With sufficient power and torque, this SUV is ready to face various road conditions, from smooth asphalt to steep terrain. Fuel efficiency and modern engine technology also make this SUV a reliable and economical choice for various purposes,” said Rifat in his statement, Thursday (20/11).
Apart from the engine, the main rival of the Toyota Fortuner is also equipped with a number of features to support the safety and security of drivers and passengers while traveling.
These features include 7 airbags, Electric Parking Brake with Brake Assist (EPB with BA), Hill Descent Control, Multi Around Monitor, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Mitigation System, Blind Spot Warning, Ultrasonic Mis-acceleration Mitigation System, Lane Change Assist, Read Cross Traffic Alert, and Tire pressure Monitoring System.
As an SUV, this car also has off-road capabilities because it is equipped with four off-road modes, namely Gravel, Mud/Snow, Sand and Rock.These four modes allow the driver to adjust the vehicle’s traction capabilities according to the road surface on which they are traveling.
