According to Suzuki’s records, since 1993, Suzuki has succeeded in exporting more than 800 thousand cars and 1.5 million motorbikes to more than 100 export destination countries, including Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, Oceania, Africa and Europe.

President Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor – PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales Minoru Amano said that the sustainability of the Suzuki industry in Indonesia is supported by investments that have reached more than IDR 22 trillion since its inception.

The investment consists of a passenger car manufacturing center through the Cikarang Plant, while commercial cars are at the Tambun 2 Plant. Separately, motorbike manufacturing is carried out at the Tambun 1 Plant. All of them are actively operating in the Bekasi area, West Java.
“And we have produced more than 11.8 million motorbikes and more than 3.2 million cars,” said Amano at the Suzuki Cikarang factory, West Java, Tuesday (18/11).
Since the last few years, continued Amano Suzuki, he has also carried out the complete production process, starting from pressing, welding, painting, assembling, to final inspection.Simultaneously, Suzuki also makes its own engines, transmissions and seats through powertrain and seat facilities.
Suzuki’s industrial series is able to run thanks to the main ecosystem supported by more than 800 supplier partners, of which up to 55 percent are domestic investors and 32 percent of which fall into the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) category.
Then, to present new products such as the Fronx, Suzuki took important steps by adding more modern manufacturing equipment.This model is made with advanced robots, and goes through a testing phase for the latest technology such as the Advanced Driving Assistance System.
Plus 3D scanning to ensure the precision of the vehicle body is always consistent according to standards.
Apart from that, the company also accommodates at least 445 thousand employees in Indonesia.
In line with this, this Japanese brand continues to expand so that the models shipped continue to increase.Now the company is committed to shipping 30 thousand Fronx units and 150 thousand Satria motorbikes.This figure is the cumulative volume target until 2027.
“The first export of the Fronx and Satria is a real form of Indonesia’s readiness to compete in the international market. We produce vehicles with global standards and are able to adapt to the regulations of the destination country. This step forward confirms Indonesia’s role as one of Suzuki’s strategic production bases in Southeast Asia,” he said.
In 2025, Suzuki targets to send around 40 thousand units of cars and 30 thousand units of motorbikes which are divided into 2 categories, namely Completely Built Up (CBU) and Completely Knock Down (CKD).
