holding a modification contest specifically for Jimny users which will take place from 1 October 2025 to 10 January 2026. This activity is a form of appreciation and a forum for channeling work on modifying this iconic car nationally.
Dony Ismi Saputra, Deputy of Sales & Marketing Managing Director of Suzuki Indomobil Sales, stated that the Jimny Custom Contest was designed as a prestigious platform to showcase various car modifications that have been released in Indonesia since 1979.
“This competition offers a golden opportunity for participants to demonstrate the personal touch of their vehicles in front of the public and professional judges,” said Dony in a written statement, Friday (5/12).

There are four contest categories that potential participants can take part in, starting from Offroad/Adventure Style, Innovation & Extreme Modification, Street & Stylish Looks, and Restomod/Classic Style.This division aims to ensure fair and objective comparisons between participants with a diversity of modification orientations.

How to register is easy and can be accessed via the digital platform on the page https://www.suzuki.co.id/jimny-contest.
It contains participation requirements that must be met, including the legality of vehicle ownership and the validity of documentation of modifications that have been made.
This contest can also be participated in by all Jimny owners of any type, variant or generation, such as the LJ80, Sierra, Katana, Caribean up to the latest 5-door Jimny.
“So there are no restrictions or reasons for customers not to take part in this activity,” he said.
In each contest category, Suzuki provides a Trip to Japan, Action Camera, Drone and Smartwatch package with a fantastic accumulated amount of 250 million Rupiah.Meanwhile, the winner of this contest will be determined based on the assessments of professional judges from various fields.
Participants also have the opportunity to become 1st, 2nd, 3rd place or netizen’s favorite.
Later, Suzuki will display the four best car modifications from each category at the 2026 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS).
“We hope this contest will be a stage to demonstrate how far imagination can be realized in the Suzuki Jimny,” said Dony.
