which have officially entered the export market, the Satria motorbike and the Fronx five-passenger SUV, are claimed to have a high Domestic Local Content Level (TKDN).This proves that the localization process for the two models in Indonesia is deep enough so that they can be relied on to compete abroad.
President Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor – PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales Minoru Amano said that the company has tried to reach TKDN Fronx to 63 percent, while Satria is around 82 percent.

For him, this condition also means the readiness of local supply chain partners in terms of quality and quantity.

Amano explained that this export not only expands Suzuki’s global business footprint, but also provides economic benefits to the local supplier ecosystem, human resources and the national economy.
“We will continue to strengthen and secure Indonesia’s central position on the world automotive stage,” he said.
For the initial stage, Suzuki itself has committed to shipping 30 thousand Fronx and 150 thousand Satria. This figure is the cumulative volume target until 2027.
Meanwhile, in 2025, Suzuki targets to send around 40 thousand units of cars and 30 thousand units of motorbikes which are divided into 2 categories, namely Completely Built Up (CBU) and Completely Knock Down (CKD).
Amano added that according to internal calculations, Fronx is projected to contribute around 30 percent to Suzuki car exports until 2027. Meanwhile, Satria is predicted to be able to achieve a contribution of approximately 60 percent of all Suzuki motorbike exports over the same duration.
“This step forward confirms Indonesia’s role as one of Suzuki’s strategic production bases in Southeast Asia,” said Amano.
