Certainly absent in the Indonesia Motorcycle Show (
Imos
) 2025 which will be held on September 24-28.This is quite surprising, considering that Kawasaki is a member of the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI), the organizer of the exhibition.
The absence of Kawasaki was justified by AISI representative, Sigit Kumala, who served as Chairman of the IMOS 2025 organizer.
“Yes, that’s right (Kawasaki is absent from the IMOS exhibition),” Sigit said when contacted on Friday (12/9).
According to Sigit the manufacturer who is synonymous with the green color can not participate due to internal considerations.However, not detailed with certain the reasons behind the decision.
“They are in consideration. Internal management, yes,” he said.
This is not the first Kawasaki absent at IMOS, Geng Ijo was not included in the list of participants in 2023. Even so participated again in 2024.
The absence decision this year automatically releases four original AISI members to show off at the exhibition, namely Honda, Yamaha, TVS and Suzuki.
Nevertheless exhibitors are not only members of AISI, there are also Alva, Objects, Harley-Davidson, Italjet, Keway, Kupprum, Morbidelli, Polytron, Royal Enfield and Scomadi.
Then more than 50 supporting industry products such as accessories, apparel, lubricants, digital technology and spare parts will also enliven the exhibition.
In addition, visitors will be treated to many innovations and the latest designs of well-known brands.The exhibition not only features the latest products and innovations, but also presents a variety of exciting and interesting activities for motorcycle lovers.
Chairman of AISI Johannes Loman emphasized that IMOS was not just an exhibition, but a national motorcycle industry barometer.
“We are holding the IMOS 2025 in the hope that it can encourage market growth and national motorcycle industry development in the midst of challenging economic conditions this year,” Loman said.
For five days, the exhibition will be held in an area of 15 thousand square meters, using the entire indoor, prefunction and outdoor areas in Hall 9 and 10 ICE BSD City.
