Or Ojol claims to hold a large demonstration with students in the DPR on Wednesday (9/17).They reminded the government about the potential for anarchist waves such as demonstrations in Nepal if the demands were not heard.
Igun Wicaksono, Chairperson of the Indonesian Guard as the initiator and one of the online motorcycle taxi acts said the escalation of the wave of people’s resistance in various countries such as in Nepal was a tragedy if the people were at a saturation point for the behavior of a number of officials and corrupt, evil and not pro -government to the people.
“The same thing can happen in Indonesia. There is a fire in the husk which will one day explode and even explode to threaten the government and officials who are considered corrupt are not pro to the people with the behavior and policies that are front of entrepreneurs,” Igun said in his written statement, quoted Monday (9/15).
According to him it will not recede the escalation of the wave of Guard’s resistance to the government which is considered pro -capitalist and not pro to the people.He said, state officials were considered to listen to the complaints of the people who work as ojol.
On that basis said Igun Garda together with students will put up a fight against corrupt officials and pro -capitalist government.
“Garda reminds not to get the tragedy of folk resistance as in Nepal happens in Indonesia. Before it is late the Garda asked President Prabowo, removed all ministers who were not pro to the people or the people would fight as happened in Nepal, once again we reminded and on behalf of Garda officially demanded President Prabowo to immediately remove the Minister of Transportation, Dudy Purwaghandi,” said Igun.
Igun added that in the demonstration Wednesday, his party would also bring a number of other demands in front of the Parliament Building.The demonstration will bring a mass of 2,000 to 5,000 people consisting of ojol, courier, to students.
About the demands of students related to 17+8 and ojol urged the removal of Dudy Purwagandhi from his position.He said while Dudy was trusted as the Minister of Transportation, the main demand of Ojol would continue to be prevented.
Ojol demands to the government:
1. Online Transportation Bill Immediately Input in Prolegnas,
2. 10 percent applicator pieces are not negotiable
3. Regulations on goods and food tariffs
4. Investigative audit 5 percent of the ojol rights that have been taken by the applicator
5. Flatten all applicator programs that are detrimental to ojol such as Aceng, Slots, Multi Order, Paid Members etc.
6. Change the Min Minister of Transportation to the people
7. National Police Chief Completed Tragedy August 28, 2025 which has led to the fall of two fatalities from Ojol driver Affan Kurniawan
(21) in Jakarta and Rusdamdiyansah (26) in Makassar.
