Online Motorcycle taxi demonstration (

This action is planned to start from the Garda headquarters in the Cempaka Mas area, Central Jakarta at 11.00 WIB.Then the Ojol group will be a convoy to the State Palace, the Ministry of Transportation Building, then to the last location in the DPR/MPR Building around 12.00-13.00 WIB.
“Garda appeals to Jakarta residents to choose alternative modes of transportation on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 because most of the online transportation will kill the application massively as a form of solidarity of the movement of online motorcycle taxi demonstrations to the Ministry of Transportation, Palace and Parliament,” Igun said in a written statement, quoted on Tuesday (16/9).
Chairperson of Garda Indonesia Igun Wicaksono explained that the demonstration today is not only Ojol moving, but there are also students.
“The Garda Indonesia Online Motorcycle taxi driver association together with the Association of Alliances, online motorcycle taxi communities, students from BEM UI and other student alliances will hold a grand demonstration starting from the Ministry of Transportation and then to the Presidential Palace and ended demonstrations at the Indonesian Parliament,” Igun said.
Ojol brought seven demands to the demonstration today, one of which asked National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo to thoroughly investigate the tragedy of August 28, 2025. At that time one of the ojols, Affan Kurniawan, was killed by the police.
