From these results, it is predicted that national car sales will reach the new target of 780 thousand units set by Gaikindo to replace the previous target of 900 thousand units.
Wholesale distribution is less than 70 thousand units to reach the target, while from the retail side it is less than 41 thousand units.
The new target has been lowered significantly considering that economic conditions and the purchasing power of the Indonesian people are weakening. This figure is much smaller than the wholesale results for January-December 2024, which reached 865,723 units, while the retail figures were 889,680 units.
