One Ducati Scrambler motorcycle unit was also highlighted in a case of alleged extortion and/or reception of the gratification of former Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer which was demolished by
Corruption Eradication Commission
(KPK).
The motorbike was revealed to be one of the items requested by Noel to the Institutional Coordinator and K3 Personnel Ministry of Manpower 2022-2025 Irvian Bobby Mahendro (IBM).In this case, Irvian allegedly received up to Rp69 billion.
“When asking for a motorcycle, IEG (Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan) said to IBM (Irvian Bobby Mahendro), ‘I know you are playing a big motorbike.KPK Chairman Setyo Budiyanto said, imitating Noel’s conversation to Irvian when confirmed by reporters on Saturday (8/23).
“Then IBM bought and sent it to his house, 1 Ducati off the road, maybe with the intention of covering the buyer,” he said.
Setyo said Irvian then bought a blue Ducati Scrambler motorbike with plate number B 4225 SUQ which was deposited at Noel’s children’s house.The motorbike has now been confiscated by KPK investigators.
After being traced, the Ducati motorbike gave Irvian using a fake number or bulging plate.This is known because the luxury motorbike is not equipped with an official letter.
Ducati Scrambler Nightshift Specifications
According to the list of confiscated items released by the KPK, Noel’s Ducati Scrambler motorbike is included in the type of Nightshift with a type of nebula blue color.
Ducati Scrambler Nightshit carries the classic nuances seen from various aspects, including the rim of black fingers, not alloy like other variants.
Another classic touch is shown from the seats in brown leather and minimalist front parts.Not only that, the vintage impression became increasingly thick with a straight handlebars in the style of cafe racer and rear view mirror end bar.
However, Noel Ebenezer’s motorbike seems to have changed the exhaust to the Termignoni premium aftermarket product.
Quoted from the official Ducati Scrambler website, the Nightshift variant is equipped with an air-cooled L-Twin engine with a typical Ducati desmodromic valve system.Each cylinder also uses two valves.
Meanwhile, the engine capacity reaches 803 cc with a bore size and stroke of 88 x 66 mm and a compression ratio of 11: 1.
The engine can produce 73 HP power at 8,250 rpm and 48.1 lb-ft (64.1 Nm) torque at 7,000 rpm.The power is channeled using a 6 -speed manual transmission system.
This motorbike has also used electronic injection with a 50 mm diameter throttle body that is integrated with ride-by-wire technology.
There are also a number of modern features that complement the Ducati Scrambler Nightshift, such as a 4.3 -inch TFT instrument panel, full LED lighting system (including turn signal), to USB sockets under the seat.
Nightshift is also equipped with a Ducati Multimedia System that can connect smartphones and Ducati Quick Shift features that allow to shift teeth faster and smoother.
For now, the Ducati Scrambler Nightshift market price in Indonesia can penetrate the range of Rp410 million.
