In 2025 it will shrink again to 523,591 units, previously in October it reached 590,362 units.
Even though this decline in results still resulted in revenues for 11 months this year reaching 5.9 million units, which is close to the lowest target set by the Indonesian Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) of 6.4 million units.
This means that AISI member producers only need around 450 thousand sales units to achieve the lowest national target.

The highest target set by AISI for its five members, namely Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and TVS, is 6.7 million units.

Meanwhile exports in the form of Completely Built Up (CBU) from Indonesia also shrank in November to 43,426 units, while in October it was 49,009 units.Total CBU exports until November amounted to 502,592 units.
Still according to AISI data, motorbike exports in decomposed or Completely Knock Down (CKD) form as of November amounted to 7,586,857 units, then part by part exports amounted to more than 125 million components.
Honda dominates the market
During this year, Honda is still the leader of the country’s two-wheeled market with sales of almost 80 percent.
In the January-October 2025 period with a distribution of 5,427,253 units, for example, Honda dominated sales with 4.2 million units or around 77 percent control.
However, the increase compared to the same period last year was very slight, amounting to 0.08 percent.
Then the best-selling Honda motorbikes during that period still came from the scooter segment, such as the Beat, Scoopy, and Vario Series.
