New DFSK Gelora E Variant Launched, Cheaper Price

The pioneer model of commercial electric cars in the country,
DFSK Gelora E
, now has a new variant which is cheaper.This B-Type variant was launched at Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) 2025 on Friday (21/11).
Gelora E is available in two body options, namely minibus and blind van.Meanwhile, the B-Type variant is designed from a blind van body with dimensions of 4.5 meters long, 1.6 meters wide and 2 meters high.

The Gelora E B-Type cabin can be used to transport goods up to 2.5 meters long, while the maximum volume is 4.8 cubic meters.
Different from the previous variant which carries a 42 kWh battery, the Gelora E B-Type carries a 38 kWh battery.The distance is claimed to be 268 kilometers, shorter than its sibling which can reach 300 kilometers.

The battery can be charged using DC Charging (Fast Charging) using CCS2 with the capability of 80 minutes for electric charging from 20 percent to 80 percent.
AC Charging (Standard Charging) using Type 2 is also available with a duration of 3.5 hours to charge from 20 percent to 80 percent.
Various features available on the Gelora E B-Type include Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), driver and cargo compartment partitions, headlights with light sensors, parking sensors, meter cluster with the latest, more modern and informative appearance, high mount stop lamp and IP67 battery protection.
Price
The Gelora E B-Type sells for IDR 248 million, cheaper than the Minibus IDR 399 million and the Blind Van IDR 350 million.
Similar to the others, this variant is covered by a 5 year or 200 thousand kilometer battery guarantee, a 3 year or 120 kilometer vehicle guarantee and consumers get Free Part Maintenance for 5 years or 200,000 kilometers.
Sokonindo Automobile explained that the Gelora E B-Type is aimed at reaching more business people who want to take advantage of the efficiency of electric cars.

DFSK emphasizes that all innovations brought to the Indonesian market are designed to provide real value for business actors,” said Alexander Barus, CEO of Sokonindo Automobile in his official statement.
