Motorcycle sales in October 2025 are getting closer to the target of 6.4 million units

January to October 2025 will reach 5.4 million or closer to the Motorcycle Industry Association (AISI) target of 6.4 million to 6.7 million units.
AISI members must collect at least 1 million units or 500,000 thousand units per month during November and December to reach the lowest target.

In October, five AISI members, namely Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and TVS, experienced an increase in sales of new motorbikes to 590,362 units.The numbers stop at 567,173 units.
Positive results also occurred in export achievements, from September amounting to 43,926 units to 49,009 units.Total CBU motorbike exports from Indonesia until October reached 459,166 units.

Still according to AISI data, exports of motorbikes in decomposed or Completely Knock Down (CKD) form managed to increase to 715,873 units in October, while in September it was 714,410 units.
AISI previously stated that it remained optimistic that sales of new motorbikes during 2025 would reach the target of at least 6.4 million units.This target is greater than last year’s sales realization of 6.33 million units.
“Looking at current (economic) trends, AISI is still targeting motorbike sales of 6.4 to 6.7 million units this year,” said AISI General Chair Johannes Loman in Jakarta.
