Kim Ha-sung’s San Diego will face off against the traditional powerhouse LA Dodgers.
Major League Baseball announced that San Diego and the Los Angeles Dodgers will play their regular season opener in Seoul on 20 and 21 March next year.
It will be the first time ever that a major league game will be played in Korea, and the venue will be the Gocheokdome, given the chilly weather in March.
It will be the ninth time in history that a Major League Baseball opening game will be played outside of the United States, and the second time in Asia after Tokyo.
The San Diego team showed their excitement by posting a video of Kim Ha-sung’s impressions on their official social media,
