has completed the crash test of Mitsubishi’s newest car,
Destinator
.This seven-passenger SUV was awarded a 5 star rating.
These results were obtained after this SUV went through various crash test modes with an overall score of 77.27 points.
The Destinator was given a score of 34.69 points out of a maximum of 40 points for adult protection, 16.54 points out of 20 points for child protection, and safety features were rated 15.02 points out of 20 points.

Meanwhile, safety for motorcyclists was 11.02 points out of 20 points.
ASEAN NCAP stated that the Destinator unit tested was the 2026 model year, the GLS variant which was produced in Indonesia in 2025. This GLS variant was exported from Indonesia and sold in the Philippines, Vietnam and Brunei.

All Destinator variants are equipped with a number of features that can increase the user’s sense of security while traveling.
Starting from four airbags, ESC, ABS, seat belt warning to pedestrian protection to ISOFIX.
This car is also equipped with seven Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features called Diamond Sense which include Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Mitigation System (FCM), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Leading Car Departure Notification (LCDN), Multi Around Monitor (360°).
As a midsize SUV with a capacity of seven passengers, the Destinator has a spacious three-row layout and is characterized by an authentic and elegant SUV design, as well as a premium cabin that offers comfort for all passengers.
In addition, while adopting a front-wheel drive system, Mitsubishi Motors combines advanced all-wheel control technology, including Active Yaw Control (AYC), to provide safe and reliable driving on various road surfaces and weather conditions.
The Mitsubishi Destinator is designed with a length of 4.68 meters, a width of 1.84 meters, a height of 1.78 meters, a wheelbase of 2.815 meters and a ground clearance of 244 mm (without lower engine protection).
To support performance, Mitsubishi Motors has equipped the Mitsubishi Destinator with a 4B40 1,500 cc turbo engine combined with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).The engine can produce 163 hp of power and peak torque of 250 Nm.
Launching in July 2025, the Destinator GLS variant is now selling for IDR 395 million, Exceed IDR 415 million and Ultimate IDR 475 million.This price has increased by IDR 10 million from the initial price tag.
