Mitsubishi Aims for 2,000 SPK at GJAW 2025

optimistic that he will reap thousands of Vehicle Order Letters (SPK) at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) automotive exhibition which will take place at ICE BSD City Tangerang, from 21 to 30 November 2025.
Yoshio Igarashi, Marketing Director of Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI) said that his party hopes that the Destinator will make a big contribution to sales during this year’s GJAW exhibition.
“We got more than 1,600 SPK at GJAW 2024, and this year there is a Destinator, our target is to increase 20 percent to 2 thousand SPK,” said Yoshio Igarashi at ICE BSD Tangerang, Monday (24/11).

He said sales during GJAW were projected to contribute to 10 percent of Mitsubishi’s sales nationally, as well as 30 percent in Jabodetabek.

“And in Jabodetabek it could be 30 percent,” he said.
Igarashi believes that national car sales can reach 800 thousand to 850 thousand units by the end of 2025 because various new cars will be available towards the end of the year.
Until October 2025, national car retail will reach 660,659 units and Mitsubishi is in the fourth position as the best-selling brand in the country.Mitsubishi sales in that period reached 55,408 units with a market share of 8.4 percent.
“We are optimistic that the target can be achieved,” said Igarashi.
While at GJAW, visitors can try out Mitsubishi’s flagship cars such as the Pajero Sport, Xforce, Xpander, and Destinator.The Destinator is one of the SUV models that is relied on to boost Mitsubishi’s sales this year.
The Destinator is an SUV that can accommodate 7 adult passengers.The Destinator is powered by a 1,500 cc turbo engine and is claimed to produce 163 PS of power with 250 Nm of torque which is channeled to the front wheel drive.
