“The collaboration between MAB as the assembly party, then Solarky as the technology provider and Fortuna as the distributor,” said Moeldoko at the MAB office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (10/12).
Moeldoko hopes that this three-party collaboration can strengthen Indonesia’s position as one of the growth centers for electric vehicles in Asia, while also reflecting MAB’s commitment to providing quality, competitive and sustainable modern mobility solutions.
First car
The first car that will be produced as a result of this collaboration is the Sun V, a Solarky product in the form of a compact electric citycar which in Indonesia can compete directly with the Vinfast VF3, Wuling Air EV, or even the Seres E1.This car will laterĀ be sold under the MAB brandĀ in the country.
On the official website, Sun V is 3,150 mm long, 1,490 mm wide and 1,700 mm high, thanks to the use of solar panels on the roof.
