) National Police Inspector General Pol Agus Suryonugroho said paying vehicle tax is ‘as easy as buying credit’ in line with the improvements they are making in technology-based community services.
Agus said that at the opening of the Evaluation Meeting on the Implementation of Duties of the Regident & Working Meeting of Gakkum T.A.2025, which was held in Bandung, Wednesday (12/11).

According to him, synergy between agencies, especially in the areas of motor vehicle registration, tax payment and traffic law enforcement, is important.
Agus said this is to ensure that people receive fast, easy and transparent services, one of which is by simplifying the vehicle tax payment system.

Agus also highlighted the importance of humanist services at all levels of the traffic police force.He hopes that people will express their gratitude for the service they receive.
“Of course, with this coordination meeting with this technical meeting, we will all prioritize community service and I hope that when anyone who deals with the National Police, with traffic police, with Samsat, community security services, they will express their gratitude for their service, the service will be carried out with heart and the service will be carried out using technology,” he said.
Korlantas Polri now manages a special application for vehicle tax payments to extend STNK or number plates called National Digital Samsat (Signal).
This application is connected to Jasa Raharja and Bapenda’s systems throughout Indonesia and means that people do not need to go to Samsat to pay Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) and other components.
Apart from that, Korlantas Polri also has a Precision National SIM (Sinar) application to help with the SIM renewal process.Now most of the STNK and SIM extension processing processes can be done online at home.
