Kijang Innova Reborn has a long life, gets a facelift from Toyota

Reborn, the generation before Zenix, which is still produced and sold in Indonesia, has quietly undergone a design refresh.This seven-passenger MPV, which shares the platform with the Fortuner and Hilux, gets a number of new touches that make it look different.
There are several changes to the car, which is now only sold in one diesel engine variant, including the exterior and interior.

First, the trapezoidal grill is now equipped with three gray bars combined with a black bezel layer.This change creates a more striking appearance than the previous design.

Second, the main lights are made with sharp angles and a distinctive shape.Third, the rear emblem has now been repositioned, while the variant emblem and engine code have been removed.
The only emblem currently attached is the words Kijang Innova, located on the bottom side of the left rear light.
Fourth, the rim design is a combination of two colors, namely black and silver.
Entering the interior, there is a fifth change in the form of a new nine-inch touch screen that has smartphone connectivity.Fifth, the dashboard interior is equipped with new wood panels to add an elegant impression.
Apart from that, the seat fabric pattern has been revised along with black armrests.
There are no other changes to the Innova Reborn, including the engine.This car is only available with one diesel engine option, 2 GD FTV 4 Cylinder in-line, 16 valve DOHC with VNT Intercooler 2,500 cc which can produce 149 PS at 3,400 rpm and 36.7 kgm of torque at 1,200-2,600 rpm.
To channel power and torque to the rear wheels, there are two transmission options, namely manual and automatic in this car.
Toyota on its official website markets the Innova Reborn G manual for IDR 416.6 million and automatic for IDR 437.5 million.
