Tri Taruna Fariadi
, who tried to escape and hit a KPK officer with a car when he was about to be arrested in a sting operation (OTT), was recorded as having assets of around IDR 1.6 billion.
Some of his assets are motorized vehicles, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled, with the following details:
1. Motorbike, 2016 Honda Scoopy Rp. 8 million
2. Motorbike, 2017 Honda CRF, IDR 19 million
3. Car, Suzuki Swift 2010, Rp. 79 million
4. Car, BMW sedan (type not stated) 2002, Rp. 90 million
5. Motorbike, 2019 Honda ADV, IDR 30 million.

Tri last made a State Administrator’s Asset Report (LHKPN) on January 22 2025 with a value of IDR 1,644,000,000.

This OTT is related to the appointment of the Head of the HSU District Prosecutor’s Office, Albertinus Parlinggoman Napitupulu, and the Head of the Intelligence Section of the HSU District Prosecutor’s Office, Asis Budianto, as suspects in the alleged extortion case.
Both of them have been detained at the KPK State Detention Center (Rutan) for the first 20 days, starting from December 19 2025 to January 8 2026.
Albertinus is suspected of receiving cash flows of at least IDR 804 million, either directly or through intermediaries named Asis, Tri Taruna, and other parties.
The money came from alleged acts of extortion against a number of regional officials at HSU, such as the Education Service, Health Service, Public Works Service (PU), and Regional General Hospital (RSUD).
Meanwhile, Asis Budianto is suspected of receiving cash flows from a number of parties amounting to IDR 63.2 million in the period February 2025-December 2025.
Tri Taruna himself is said to have not only acted as an intermediary for alleged extortion.He is also suspected of receiving a cash flow of up to IDR 1.07 billion.
Meanwhile, the KPK OTT Tri’s arrest took place on Thursday (18/12).Today Tri surrendered himself to the KPK after running away and fighting officers during an OTT.
