“It’s pitiful to let go of the game by myself”…’2 consecutive runner-up’ Kim Ye-eun, growing pains of tears

 “I lost my composure…”

On the 23rd, at the ‘Welcome Savings Bank PBA-LPBA Championship’ women’s LPBA final held at the Bitmaru Broadcasting Center in Goyang, Jung-suk Lim (Crown Haetae) and Ye-eun Kim (Welcome Savings) Bank) was defeated by a set score of 4-1.

With this, Jung-suk Lim not only lifted her first trophy of her 2022-23 season, but also kept her pride as a ‘defending champion’. Lim Jung-sook, who also became her first champion at the Welcome Savings Bank LPBA Championship in her first season, set an interesting record by winning the Wellbang Championship four times with this victory. She also tied for the lead with ‘Billiards Empress’ Ga-Young Kim for her record of five career LPBA wins.

Lim Jeong-suk’s performance all season has been steadily kept inside the round of 4-16 since then, except for her elimination in the round of 64 at the Blue One Resort Championship, her opening match. Her best result this season was runner-up at the Huons Championship (fourth tour).

In an interview after the match, winner Lim Jeong-sook expressed her feelings of joy, saying, “These days, her attitude toward the game has changed in a big way, and I think she was able to win thanks to that.”

He continued, “I decided to think of my opponent as a ‘person who gives me problems’ rather than thinking of them as ‘enemies’.” If your mind gets stronger, then it seems like your mind control doesn’t work well,” he said.

On the other hand, ‘Youngest PBA Champ’ Kim Ye-eun hit her chest once again by winning second place in a row. In the previous tour, the NH Nonghyup Card Championship (6th Tour), she met Ga-yeong Kim (Hana Card), the ’empress of billiards’, and played a long game until dawn, but ended up in second place and shed tears.

Prior to this game, Kim Ye-eun passed the survival round of 64-32 safely with 2nd place and 1st place in the group, and defeated Slong Piabi (Blue 1 Resort) in the round of 16, Min-ju Baek in the round of 8, and Bo-mi Kim (NH Nonghyup Card) in the round of 4. They defeated them step by step, predicting another final stage.

However, in the last 5 sets of the day, only one point was scored due to a fatal blow, and the game could not be overturned. In the end, she shed tears in the waiting seat once again after winning second place in a row.  토토사이트

After the game, Kim Ye-eun said, “This time, my team participates as the title sponsor, and I was determined to win, but it’s a pity.”

Regarding her tears immediately after the finals, he expressed his regret, saying, “(Lim) Jung-sook, I’m sorry, you should have enjoyed it, but I couldn’t enjoy it to the fullest because I cried.”

Although he was in good condition recently, he cited his mind-shaking and impetuous play in the final as his defeat.

Kim Ye-eun said, “It was so pitiful to see her let go of the game by herself,” and reaffirmed her determination, saying, “I will train to remain calm during important matches in the future.”

On the 24th, the 8th day of the tournament, the men’s PBA semi-finals will continue from 11:00 am. The first match will be between Din Nai (SK Rent-A-Car) and Seongho Kang, and at 2:00 PM, the match will be between Jaeho Cho (NH Nonghyup Card) and Min-Gu Kang (Blue One Resort). The final will start at 8:00 PM.
