‘Humiliation of all 3 losses’ Woori Card, Hyundai Capital’s blocking strategy is the task

The professional volleyball men’s team, Woori Card, will seek revenge against Hyundai Capital, who suffered the humiliation of three previous defeats this season.

Woori Card will play a home game against Hyundai Capital in the 4th round of the 2022-2023 Dodram V-League men’s division at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul on the 19th. Currently, Woori Card is in 4th place with 12 wins and 9 losses and 32 points, while Hyundai Capital is in second place with 14 wins and 7 losses and 43 points.  바카라사이트

Woori Card, which was recently mired in two consecutive losses, succeeded in turning the atmosphere around by beating the leader Korean Air on the 14th. After a full set battle, they won a thrilling victory.

It is more meaningful because it was a victory obtained while the command tower was away. Director Shin Young-chul of Woori Card was recently diagnosed with COVID-19 and is scheduled to be released from quarantine on the 20th. Head coach Kim Jae-heon will take the helm instead of coach Shin Young-chul until the match against Hyundai Capital on this day.

Agamez (25 points), Na Gyeong-bok (23 points), and Kim Ji-han (12 points) showed even performances in the triangular formation. Especially since Agamez recently returned from an ankle injury, he has been flying. In the previous match against KEPCO, it showed good performance with 40 points and an attack success rate of 57.38%.

The triangular formation of Oreol, Heo Soo-bong, and Jeon Gwang-in, which Hyundai Capital boasts, is no less than this. In the match against Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance on the 15th, Heo Soo-bong scored 23 points, the most of both teams, and Jeon Kwang-in and Oreol scored 21 and 19 points, respectively. In the attack success rate, Jeon Kwang-in reached 85%, Heo Soo-bong 71.43%, and Oreol 50%, showing off their best condition.

Our card has the upper hand in the offense this season. Woori Card is ranked 3rd in scoring (1884 points) and 2nd in total offense (52.28%), running at the top. It boasts stronger firepower than Hyundai Capital, which ranks 6th in scoring (1827 points) and 4th in overall attack (52.04%).

However, Woori Card was blocked by the high wall of Hyundai Capital every time. Hyundai Capital succeeded in blocking a whopping 39 (15 Woori Cards) in three confrontations with Woori Card this season. This season, he took first place in the blocking category (2.97 per set) and took advantage of his strength, height, to win all three head-to-head matches.

From Woori Card’s point of view, in order to pay back the shame of losing three games this season, we need to find a way to break down Hyundai Capital’s blocking. In this head-to-head match, it remains to be seen whether Hyundai Capital can break down the high wall.
