How Economical is the Toyota Veloz Hybrid?

has been launched in Indonesia and is claimed to have a higher level of efficiency than conventional variants.So what is the fuel consumption of this car?
So far Toyota has not disclosed technical information regarding this matter.However, it is understood that the Veloz Hybrid is equipped with a 1,500 cc 2NR-VEX petrol engine with a Series-Parallel Hybrid similar to the Yaris Cross Hybrid.

According to Bob Azam, Deputy President Director of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN), using the same engine means that fuel consumption between the Veloz Hybrid and Yaris Cross Hybrid is not much different.
As an illustration, the Yaris Cross Hybrid’s fuel consumption reaches 31 km per liter.However, Bob is not yet willing to explain the exact figures achieved by the Veloz Hybrid, because performance can vary depending on the weight of the vehicle, and the conditions of use in the real world.

“Yes, it’s similar,” said Bob at ICE BSD Tangerang, recently.
Bob believes that the use of hybrid technology can reduce emissions to fuel consumers by up to 50 percent from conventional models.
“But in our experience, hybrids can reduce emissions and fuel consumption by 40-50 percent,” said Bob.
Veloz Hybrid is officially sold in Indonesia with the cheapest price starting at IDR 299 million.This price is only valid until 31 December 2025.
Apart from the performance sector, the Veloz Hybrid is also equipped with additional features on Toyota Safety Sense (TSS).Several existing systems are also maintained, such as the Pre-Collision System (PCS) and Lane Departure Alert.
Then in the cabin, changes have been made to the interior panels and seat covers, which are now black.
All variants are equipped with black outside mirrors and an entertainment system using 10 inch premium audio with various new features such as Wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto and Streaming Apps on Q Grade.
