Korean baseball’s Hanwha Eagles’ homegrown ace Kim Min-woo pitched his worst game of the season in his return from injury.
Kim was pulled from his start against the NC Dinos of the 2023 KBO League at NC Park in Changwon on Saturday after giving up nine runs on eight hits and four walks in three innings.
Kim had been removed from the game against the SSG Landers on April 14 after being hit in the right arm by a Guillermo Heredia hard hit in the fourth inning.메이저사이트
Min-woo, who avoided a fracture but had a swollen arm, returned to the starting lineup after spending more than 10 days in the second team to check his physical condition.
But Kim, whose fastball tops out at 143 mph, gave up six runs on three walks and three hits in the second inning and was removed after giving up three runs in the third.
Min-woo raised his ERA from 5.45 to 6.96 this season.
It’s been more than a year since Kim gave up nine runs in a game, after allowing 10 runs (nine earned) in 4⅓ innings against the KIA Tigers on May 6 last year.
