Team of the Round – ‘Gimpo’ looks to make it three in a row against Ansan
Gimpo continued their winning streak with a 1-0 victory over Seoul Eland in Round 22 in midweek. With the win, they moved up two places in the standings, from sixth to fourth. Gimpo has now conceded 12 goals in 20 matches since the start of the season. This is tied for the lowest number of goals conceded after the opening 20 games in K League 2 history (Jeonnam in 2021). Gimpo will host Ansan in round 23. They were winless against Ansan last season, drawing two and losing two, but recorded their first win in their first meeting this season, beating Ansan 3-2.
