also inspected locations affected by flood and landslide disasters in Agam Regency, West Sumatra, Thursday (4/12).On that occasion he was seen using a trail motorbike.
He previously arrived at Minangkabau Airport, West Sumatra, and immediately boarded a helicopter to Agam to distribute logistical aid to victims at the refugee post.

After landing from the helicopter, Gibran continued his journey on a trail motorbike to the evacuation post set up by the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).
According to Antara, the road to the refugee post still appears to be covered in wet mud.The width of the road is very narrow, so it cannot be passed by four-wheeled vehicles and can only be used by motorbikes.

The purpose of using this motorbike is also to not interfere with the activities of SAR officers who are carrying out evacuations and searching for missing victims.
Agam Regency itself was the first location Gibran visited in his series of working visits to visit three provinces affected by the Sumatran disaster, namely Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra.
He also had time to observe rows of houses that had been swept away by flash floods on either side.
During this visit, the Vice President wants to see firsthand the condition of the community and coordinate with the regional government and officers in the field to take an inventory of obstacles in disaster management.
This visit is also a follow-up to President Prabowo Subianto’s direction so that mitigation measures, emergency management and infrastructure restoration can be carried out quickly, coordinated and on target.
From West Sumatra, Gibran will fly to South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra.The journey then continues to Aceh Singkil Regency, Aceh.
