showing an unusual car concept, namely The New LS Concept, at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show taking place at Tokyo Big Sight.It looks different because this car has six wheels as proof of innovation for the future of an MPV from Lexus.
The concept is very bold, features a large body, and is believed to have a spacious cabin that resembles a first class airline.Luxury and premium experience remain the hallmark of Lexus for this car concept.
LS does not stand for Luxury Sedan or Luxury SUV, but Luxury Space.

Lexus Chief Branding Officer, Simon Humphries, explained that Luxury Space reflects luxury, comfort and personality to reach markets outside of automotive such as private jet owners and other segments.

“The future we envision is not just about making cars,” Humphries said.
Through this innovative concept, Lexus emphasizes its long-term vision as a pioneer of world-class luxury cars.
The New LS Concept uses two large wheels at the front, while at the rear there are four smaller diameter wheels.
The concept model is described as using sliding doors on both sides like Lexus cars currently marketed.There is no detailed information about the driving force of the Lexus LS Concept.
General Manager of Lexus Indonesia, Ima Nurbani Rahmah added that the LS Concept is a mobile luxury home that is ready to accompany its owner in their daily activities.
“The LS Concept here itself has evolved to no longer mean Luxury Sedan but Luxury Space,” said Ima.
LS Coupe Concept
Lexus also displayed the LS Coupe Concept, a concept that combines the interior luxury of a sedan and the handling comfort of a coupe.
Carrying the slogan “Discover Duality,” this concept prioritizes convenience for the driver and ensuring comfort for passengers.
The design is no less pleasing to the eye.This 4-door car is equipped with suicide-type front doors that open backwards and the rear with sliding doors.
The panoramic glass roof on the top of the car also complements the luxury and splendor of this concept.
Although there has been no official statement from Lexus, a number of automotive enthusiasts think that this concept will use an EV platform.
