PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (
KTB
) still questions the widespread import of Chinese trucks with Euro 2 and 3 emission standards to be marketed in Indonesia.
The entry of Chinese trucks that do not comply with regulations is considered very unfair to companies that have invested domestically.
Sales & Marketing Director of PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian, Aji Jaya asked for firmness from the government to regulate companies that sell unfit commercial vehicles.

“So what we are trying of course is that the government can apply this regulation to everyone. To all brands in Indonesia. So that it is fair or Euro 4 is the same, the technology and also the process must go through testing,” said Aji in Jakarta, Wednesday (12/11).

The sight of imported trucks not complying with regulations was at the heavy equipment exhibition some time ago at the Jakarta International Expo (JIEXPO), Kemayoran, Jakarta.
According to Aji, imported trucks that do not comply with these regulations pose a threat to companies that market both passenger and commercial vehicles in the country which clearly follow existing regulations.
It can be seen in the data from associations such as the Association of Motor Vehicle Industries (Gaikindo), that Mitsubishi Fuso recorded a less positive record in the October 2025 period.
In accumulation (year on year), the Japanese company fell by 9.9 percent or only managed 20,263 units for wholesale (from factory to dealer).
KTB has communicated with Gaikindo to resolve the current problems. This truck product from China did not undergo the procedures that apply in Indonesia, such as having a SRUT (Type Test Registration Letter).
However, Aji explained that up to now there has been no clarity.
“We have carried out communication efforts with related agencies or parties so that this condition can be better. Unfortunately, until now there has been no concrete step from the government regarding this matter, so we are still waiting,” he concluded.
