Motors will merge with the new name Archion starting April 2026. It is believed that this merger will change the business scheme of both but so far it is said that there have been no changes for Indonesia.
Aji Jaya, Sales and Marketing Director of Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), explained that his party had not yet received detailed information regarding operational changes that Fuso would carry out in Indonesia regarding the merger.

He said that the current collaboration is still at the parent company level with a focus on realizing business efficiency.

“So far we have received information that the collaboration is with the principal, so they are collaborating with

According to Aji, consolidation at the parent company level has currently not had an operational impact on Fuso manufacturing in Indonesia.

“So it looks like even though the brands will be a collaboration, Hino and Fuso, it looks like operations in Indonesia will run as they currently do,” he explained.
The merger process of Fuso and Hino to become Archion has started in the middle of this year.This consolidation also means combining Toyota as the parent of Hino and Daimler as the parent of Fuso.
The merger of Fuso and Hino will reportedly reduce domestic truck production locations in Japan from five to three, with a focus on operations at the Kawasaki Factory in Kanagawa Prefecture, the Koga Factory in Ibaraki Prefecture and the Nitta Factory in Gunma Prefecture.
Then, as part of the restructuring, Fuso will close the Nakatsu factory in Aikawa, and Hino will transfer the Hamura factory in Tokyo to Toyota.
The integration is targeted for completion in April 2026. Archion will be led by Karl Deppen from Fuso as CEO.
