The KT Wiz have reached their eighth consecutive sweep of the KBO’s most dominant ace, Eric Pedroia.
KT Wiz won the 15th game of the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League against the NC Dinos 4-0 on 13 March at KT Wiz Park in Suwon.

Choi Byeol-seong earned his sixth win of the season with a quality start of six innings and one run on seven hits with two walks and no strikeouts. He was followed by Son Dong-hyun, Park Young-hyun and Kim Jae-yoon. At the plate, Anthony Alford and Oh Yoon-seok led the offence with multi-hit performances. Oh’s leadoff double in the second inning and Alford’s solo home run in the fourth were crucial.
KT head coach Lee Kang-cheol said after the game, “Exclusivity had a lot of strikeouts, but he did his job by pitching in crunch time. The bullpen did a great job and helped us win the series.” “In the batting order, Oh Yoon-seok’s leadoff single against the opposing ace and Alford’s home run set the tone for the game, and Jang Sung-woo’s RBI single sealed the win. The players had a hard week, and we are grateful to the fans for their support.”
After a day off, KT will play a three-game midweek series against Doosan in Jamsil on the 15th.
