Test results of new fuel oil (BBM) named
Bobibos
which went viral on social media is still not out.
Director General of Oil and Gas (Migas) of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Laode Sulaeman, emphasized that there is a minimum time to determine whether the fuel is suitable for use or not.

“I don’t dare mention names and so on, but that doesn’t diminish my appreciation for the innovation of the nation’s children. But as I explained, to test a fuel and then use it as fuel, it takes a minimum of 8 months before we decide whether it is feasible or not,” explained Laode, Friday (7/11), quoted from detikcom.
Laode also straightened out the issue of Bobibos BBM which was said to have received a certificate from Lemigas, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.He explained that BBM had just submitted a laboratory test proposal.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia’s subordinate emphasized that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has not been able to convey the fuel test results.According to Laode, the Bobibos test results still have secret agreement status.
“If you ask for a test, that means the result is a test result report, not certification. I need to straighten this out, so there’s no confusion. Yesterday I also got, ‘oh it’s been certified’, I’ll straighten it out here that it hasn’t been certified,” he explained.
Laode reminded that new fuel needs to go through a process that has been set by the government to be able to be bought and sold.
Apart from that, he said that the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources is ready to facilitate parties who innovate in making new fuel.This assistance is provided so that the product can be bought and sold in the community.
