During 13 years, Honda succeeded in selling 9 million units of the Vario 125

Honda Vario 125
has become one of the backbones of Astra Honda Motor (AHM) in Indonesia in the last decade.The company says sales of this motorbike have reached 9 million units in the last 13 years.
AHM first launched the Vario scooter in Indonesia in 2006 with a 110 cc engine.Only in 2012, the company added options with a 125 cc variant and it has persisted until now, even now there is also a larger 160 cc engine option available.

“The Vario 125 has become one of the popular models. Sold 9 million units in 13 years,” said Thomas Wijaya, Vice President of Astra Honda Motor (AHM) in Cikarang, West Java, Monday (1/12).
According to Thomas, this scooter has succeeded in attracting people in terms of mobility, especially young people.Apart from that, the Vario 125 is considered not just a mode of transportation, but part of people’s lifestyle.

In line with this, Honda has now launched the latest generation of the Vario 125 which has a naked handlebar option called the Vario Street 125. The company also launched the Vario 125 facelift in Indonesia.
This model is claimed to have undergone a new touch that is focused on the needs of society, especially young people.
Some of the refreshments provided include the design of the Vario 125’s front, rear and winker lights with a sportier and more advanced shape.Then the V-Shape design of the motorbike headlight is maintained with the latest LED technology embedded.The meter panel design also gets a new touch.
For the street model, there are differences in the naked steering column and separate meter panels combined with attractive rim colors.
The motorbike is also equipped with a USB Type-C charger to charge gadgets while driving.Then the company revised the front console box to make it wider.For the company, these two features are the answer to the needs of young people.
The engine remains the same, but the weight of this motorbike is said to be 300g lighter than the previous version.
AHM Marketing Director Octavianus Dwi added that his party does not have a specific target for sales of the newest Vario 125 in Indonesia.However, it is believed that this model can contribute 15 percent to the total Honda market in Indonesia.
