‘Conte-Stellini OUT’ Mason took the temporary helm in a hurry… “It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t terrible either”

Ryan Mason, Tottenham manager, has neither favorable nor bad reviews.

Tottenham Hotspur drew 2-2 with Manchester United in the 33rd round of the Premier League in the 2022-2023 season held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England on the 28th at 4:15 am (Korean time).

Tottenham크크크벳, who escaped from two consecutive losses, returned to 5th place with 54 points (16 wins, 6 draws, 11 losses). He continued his hopes of advancing to the UEFA Champions League. Manchester United, who played two less games, is in 4th place with 60 points (18 wins, 6 draws, 7 losses).

Tottenham were dragged away by conceding two goals in the first half alone. In the 6th minute of the game, Jadon Sancho scored the first goal, and in the 44th minute, Marcus Rashford conceded an additional goal. Following Bournemouth and Newcastle, it seemed to fall into a three-game losing streak.

At the moment of crisis, Son Heung-min saved Tottenham. In the 34th minute of the second half, when he was chasing 1-2 thanks to Pedro Poro’s goal, he scored an equalizer by finishing a low cross from Harry Kane from the right with his right foot.

This is Tottenham’s first game this season as coach Ryan Mason’s acting manager.

Previously, Tottenham said goodbye to coach Antonio Conte for poor performance, and even sacked acting coach Christian Stellini, who took the temporary helm for the same reason.

It was a shock that Tottenham kicked out even Stellini, but there are understandable reasons. Tottenham suffered a 1-6 defeat against Newcastle on the 23rd. In the end, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy even sacked acting coach Stellini after a meeting with the players.

In a dark atmosphere, coach Mason presented Tottenham with at least one point. Although he was dragged in the first half, he made up for it in the second half.

British media ‘The Sun’ evaluated Coach Mason as “not great, but not terrible”.
