Chery Reveals J6T, Price Announced at GJAW 2025

J6T, the newest model from the J6 family in Bogor, West Java, Saturday (9/11).The first J6 series will hit the road in Indonesia in 2024.
Budi Darmawan, Marketing Director of Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) said that this model has a number of differences from the previous variant.
“We are making improvements to this car,” said Budi.

In general, the appearance of this SUV still resembles the three previous variants, namely RWD, IWD, RWD Phantom Edition and IWD Phantom Edition.The car still adopts a boxy and masculine appearance.

The differences are in the front and rear bumpers, front hood, and over vender. These changes are enough to make the J6T stretchier.
This SUV is 4,433 mm long, 1,916 mm wide and 1,741 mm high.The previous J6 was 4,406 mm long, 1,910 mm wide and 1,715 mm high.
The interior is equipped with a dominant black color, while the exterior now has a distinctive color, namely Red Matrix.
“J6T comes with a touch of refinement in every detail with more proportional proportions,” said Budi.
For performance, the J6T still uses an electric motor with 93.8 hp and 165 Nm of torque at the front, while the rear wheels are powered by 181 hp and 220 Nm.
The system is then combined with a battery with a capacity of 65.69 kWh or 69.77 kWh which has an IP 68 certificate.
The battery can be charged in 25 minutes from 30 percent to 80 percent, while the cruising range for RWD is 441 km and IWD is claimed to be up to 436 km.
The official price for the J6T is planned to be revealed on November 21, allegedly to coincide with the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW). As a comparison, now the SUV is priced at IDR 505.5 million to IDR 615.5 million.
