New SUV concept
Chery
which is known as the T1TP is taking the floor in Indonesia through the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW). If it is sold, Chery Indonesia estimates the price tag will be IDR 800 million.
T1TP is Chery’s SUV concept which was introduced globally in China in October 2025.

This car has an unusual innovation because it is able to combine the comfort of a family SUV with the utility of a double cabin pickup in the same vehicle body.
“So this is a concept, and the range is above IDR 800 million,” said Head of Brand & Marketing Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) Rifkie Setiawan at ICE BSD, Monday (24/11).

This vehicle is Chery’s answer to the high market interest in multi-purpose vehicles.Through in-depth research, Chery found that many consumers want the comfort and efficiency of an SUV for everyday activities, without sacrificing the flexibility of a pickup truck for weekend or work needs.
The solution was a manual removable rear canopy design to transform the appearance and function of the vehicle in just around 30 minutes using the special tools provided.
This T1TP uses a hybrid pacemaker, the Super Hybrid System which is also known as Chery Super Hybrid (CSH).There is no official information regarding the engine’s engine capabilities, but the company says the engine speed can reach 24,000 rpm.
In terms of dimensions, the seven-passenger SUV with a boxy design is 4,900 mm long and has a wheelbase of 2,800 mm, while the ground clearance is 220 mm.
Budi Darmawan, Marketing Director of CSI asked the public to be patient regarding the certainty of the launch of the SUV.However, the mass production version of this car is projected to hit the global market, including Indonesia, in late 2026 or early 2027.
“As for when, we will provide further information. Remember, Chery likes to give surprises,” said Budi.
