Cheapest Tiggo 8 CSH Variant Appears at GJAW 2025, Price IDR 440 Million

Chery launched the cheapest variant
Tiggo 8 CSH
at Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) 2025, Saturday (21/11).The economical package for the Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) car is sold for IDR 439.9 million, this is more affordable than the Toyota Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid which is sold starting at IDR 473.4 million.
Budi Darmawan, Marketing Director of Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI), said that this latest variant is called Comfort, which has adjusted features from the Premium variant for IDR 519 million.Consumers can still experience PHEV technology but at a ‘cheap’ price.

Some features that are not available on the Comfort include a panoramic sunroof, a power backdoor and fewer speakers.
“Then there are no memory seats in this Comfort variant,” said Budi at ICE BSD, Saturday (22/11).

According to Budi, the missing features in Comfort do not reduce the car’s performance.He confirmed that there was no difference in terms of the engine and the Tiggo 8 CSH hybrid system.
“That’s why we made something more economical,” he said.
Tiggo 8 CSH or Chery Super Hybrid uses Chery’s fifth generation plug-in hybrid technology which is mated to an ACTECO H4J15 engine with a capacity of 1,500 cc turbo and a front-wheel drive system or FWD.
The company claims this engine is capable of producing 239.6 hp of power and up to 215 Nm of torque with fuel consumption of up to 76 km per liter based on WLTC testing.
The PHEV system also uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (Li-Po) batteries.The battery is claimed to withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -35°C to 60°C.
In addition, the battery can be charged quickly from 30 percent to 80 percent in 20 minutes via the CCS2 port.According to Chery, this hybrid system is capable of driving the car 90 kilometers in full EV model.
Apart from the Comfort variant, on this occasion Chery also released the highest Tiggo 8 CSH variant with an all-wheel drive system, aka All Wheel Drive (AWD), which is sold for IDR 559.9 million.
