“So in the future we will get a TKDN certificate,” said Andrew.
The TKDN certificate is a requirement from the government and is important to increase the use of domestic products and industries.
Andrew also ensured that Changan products would not enjoy the government’s CBU import incentives, because from the start they had been produced domestically.
“We are not following the CBU import incentives,” he said.
Separately, Zhou Qing, Vice President of Changan Shouthest Asia Business Unit, said that starting next year, his party will strengthen its sales network in Indonesia.
His party targets to build more than 20 dealers in three main areas, namely Java, Sumatra and Kalimantan.
“By 2026 we are targeting to build more than 20 showrooms,” concluded Qing.
