The Seal 6 DM-i and BYD Seal 6 DM-i Touring achieved a score of five stars in the Euro NCAP safety test, which is the most stringent vehicle safety evaluation in Europe.
There are four areas that are assessed in this test, namely the protection of adult passengers, child passengers, vulnerable road users, and safety assistance features.

BYD Executive Vice President Stella Li said this series of tests further demonstrated BYD’s serious commitment to the safety of its users.
“It is part of our DNA as a technology company to never compromise when it comes to safety,” said BYD’s official statement, quoted on Friday (5/12).

According to BYD, the five-star safety award from Euro NCAP is proof that the company attaches great importance to driver and passenger safety.
In the adult passenger protection area, the BYD Seal 6 DM-i achieved a score of 92 percent with maximum points in the side barrier test and side pole impact test.
This model also achieved a score of 90 percent in the child passenger protection area with maximum points in the frontal offset test and side barrier test.
BYD Seal 6 DM-i and BYD Seal 6 DM-i also scored 84 percent in the area of ​​protecting vulnerable road users and 85 percent for safety assistance features.Euro NCAP also praised BYD’s driving assistant system for its excellent results.
