BYD Kargo Ship with a capacity of 7,000 electric cars leaning in Jakarta

Large cargo ship loaded with thousands of electric cars
Byd
has moved closer to Indonesia.This ship came after BYD launched Atto 1 which stole the attention at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2025.
The ship used was named byd Zhengzhou and became the seventh byd ship for its operations to send cars to all corners of the world.Entering Indonesia, this ship rests for the first time at the Port of Tanjung Priok, Jakarta.
This byd Zhengzhou arrived from Batangas, the Philippines and leaned at the International IPCC Branch Jakarta terminal on August 1, 2025. This unit became the largest Roro (Roll-On/Roll-On) ship that had led to the port.
Previously BYD had six other ships namely BYD Explorer No.1, Byd Hefei, Byd Changzhou, Byd Shenzhen, Byd Changsha and Byd Xian.Except byd explorer No.1, other Byd ships including Zhengzhou are named according to the name of the city-Chinese which is the place or basis of the production of byd cars.
Mother Vassel Byd Zhengzhou officially launched in May 2025 and was tested at the end of June, and his name was inaugurated two weeks ago.Now the ship carries thousands of BYD electric cars for the Indonesian market.

Byd Zhengzhou can carry 7,000 cars, even so there has been no explanation related to the model that entered Indonesia this time.This cargo ship was built by Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited and is a byd Hefei brother.
Byd Zhengzhou has a length of 199.9 meters and a width of 38 meters.In its operations, this ship moves using the LNG (liquefied natural gas or liquid natural gas propulsion system).
This car transporting ship adopts a double fuel propulsion system and is equipped with a permanent magnetic shaft generator.
According to BYD, this new ship is the “Green Low-Carbon Version 2.0” version that has been increased from the car transporter series built by GSI.
