Toyota Kijang Innova had to accept defeat after its position as
best selling car
Homeland in the last few months was taken by BYD
Atto 1
in October 2025.
During that month Atto 1 led the market with wholesale figures or distribution from factory to dealer of 9,396 units, far above the Innova which consisted of the Reborn and Zenix models with 4,913 units.

The presence of the Atto 1 has indeed become a topic of discussion, considering that the price offered for an electric citycar is fairly affordable, starting from IDR 195 million.
Distribution of the Atto 1 in October was BYD’s first after launching the model in July 2025.

Continuing to third place is the Daihatsu Gran Max pickup which wholesales 4,214 units, while the Toyota Avanza and Toyota Calya follow in fourth and fifth place.
The Suzuki Carry pickup managed to follow with a distribution of 2,968 units and the seventh was the Mitsubishi Xpander (including Cross) with 2,751 units.
Perched in eighth position are other Gran Max variants, namely Blind Van and Minibus, while ninth is occupied by the Honda Brio, namely Satya and RS.Meanwhile, the last or 10th position is occupied by Toyota Rush with 2,014 units.
