“Initially I only intended to buy a car for my family’s needs,” said Iskandar in Daihatsu’s written statement, quoted on Tuesday (23/12).
The handover of the unit took place at the Prima Parama Mobilindo Daihatsu Cakranegara Official Dealer, Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara, on Monday (22/12).
The Merdeka Gebyar program is Daihatsu’s form of appreciation for customers who purchase Daihatsu cars in the period 1 July to 30 September 2025. Through this program, every customer who buys a Daihatsu vehicle, without type restrictions, has the opportunity to take part in a prize draw, with the main prize being a Gran Max Taft Guy car.
“Never thought I could get a prize this big. Thank you Daihatsu for a program that really provides surprises and happiness for customers,” he said.
Gran Max is still the biggest contributor to Daihatsu sales.From January to November 2025, Gran Max contributed 44 percent of sales or 55,425 units to Daihatsu’s total sales.
Apart from that, since it was first launched, Gran Max has sold more than 900 thousand units in Indonesia.
Daihatsu claims, this achievement reflects the public’s trust in the Gran Max as a commercial vehicle that is not only known to be tough, but also functional, and capable of supporting various business activities and daily mobility needs in the country.
