“Instead of standing next to the vehicle, the (semifinal) participants had to check out the BMW 320i which was in the training center purely from a remote system,” said Mahalingam.
Participants are only given 90 minutes of repair time overall, with a maximum of 30 minutes to detect problems, determine the root of the problem, and develop a comprehensive action plan.
Of the total of eight finalists, three technicians were selected as the best in this entire competition.Assessment is not only based on the quickest order in completing repairs, but also the completeness, accuracy and quality of the repair results.
The three best technicians, from first place, are Punjung Warsito as a representative from BMW Astra Serpong, Nurdin Syahroni from BMW Astra Cilandak, and Muhammad Zuhri from Plaza MINI Green Garden.Meanwhile, the other six finalists came from Tebet, Bintaro and Surabaya.
Apart from the announcement of the three best technicians, this event also revealed footage and excitement of the Festival of Joy, BMW Group Indonesia’s first exclusive exhibition, which will be held at the end of 2025.
