Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (
GJAW
) will be held again on a larger scale from 21 to 30 November 2025. Dozens of participants are preparing to participate and quite a few will present new cars.
Based on information from the organizers, there are at least more than 80 vehicle brands taking part in this year’s GJAW.Consisting of brands of passenger vehicles, two-wheelers, bodywork and automotive supporting industries.

For car brands, there are BAIC, BMW, BYD, Changan, Citroen, Chery, Daihatsu, Denza, DFSK, Ford, GAC Aion, Geely, GWM, Honda, Hyundai, Jaecoo, Jeep, Jetour, Lepas, Lexus, Maxus, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Mini, Mitsubishi Motors, Polytron, Seres, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Vinfast and Wuling.
Of the dozens of brands, some are certain to have prepared surprises with new models.

First, Changan, which is reportedly going to launch the Deepal S07 and Lumin EV.Both will be sold at competitive prices.
Deepal S07 is a 5 passenger SUV type electric car equipped with a 160 kW PMSM electric motor or the equivalent of 214.5 hp with a torque of 320 nm.The battery used is claimed to be capable of driving the car 560 km on one charge.
Meanwhile, Lumin uses a 35 kW electric motor equivalent to 48 hp which drives the front wheels.The maximum mileage reaches 300 kilometers.
Then there is the limited edition Ford Everest, or only 25 units sold in Indonesia.
Not to forget Chery Group through its new brand Lepas with products allegedly L8 and Jaecoo.Specifically for Jaeecoo, the company has not yet clearly revealed the car that will be released, but it is certain to fall into the electrification category.
Apart from that, Japanese brands are also certain to take part in enlivening GJAW 2025 through new products that will tempt visitors.
Suzuki, for example, is projected to launch a refreshed Ertiga.
In October 2025, Dony Ismi Saputra, 4W Deputy Managing Director of Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS), said that this refresh is expected to be able to boost demand for the Ertiga, which has been eroded by the XL7 in the last few months.
He did not reveal when the car was launched, but from the code given, it is strongly suspected that the Ertiga facelift will be launched at GJAW 2025.
“We can’t ignore this, in the near future we will carry out refreshments,” said Dony in the Taman Mini area, East Jakarta, Saturday (18/10).
The most awaited one is of course the newest electrified car from Toyota, namely the Veloz Hybrid.
This Japanese brand has also previously presented presentation material which stated that they would reveal a hybrid car with World Premiere status from Indonesia at GJAW 2025. It is certain that it will be the Veloz Hybrid.
“We have a world premiere. Maybe this is one of them. The most awaited HEV, featuring one of the HEV vehicles that is produced locally and developed locally. So this is an Indonesian product, from Indonesia for the Indonesian people. This is probably what we will be waiting for too,” said Philardi Ogi, Public Relations Manager of Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) in Jakarta, last October.
Not only that, Toyota will also launch two electric cars, one of which is suspected to be a locally assembled bZ4X.
