) affected by the floods and landslides that hit Sumatra, especially in the areas of Aceh, North Sumatra and West Sumatra.A total of 23 Honda motorbike dealers in Aceh were paralyzed due to the disaster.
“Based on the latest report, several areas are definitely having problems. For example, in Aceh 23 of our networks entered water and had to stop operating,” said AHM Marketing Director Octavianus Dwi in Cikarang, West Java, Monday (1/12).

Even so, they still guarantee that their services to consumers will continue.Honda has set up a special post as a place to carry out servicing.
“Consumers who need quick handling regarding their motorbikes, we set up a post. Then we ensure the availability of spare parts,” he said.

He said providing services during a disaster was not an easy matter.His party is not only faced with road access being cut off due to landslides and floods, but also facing other challenges regarding the depletion of fuel availability in the incident area.
“Because it’s not easy now to send there, not only is there access, but there are also very long queues for petrol there. So that has quite an impact,” he said.
“The problem is to reach the area there. We are currently still struggling with the distribution of basic necessities as a priority,” he said later.
According to him, the only Honda dealers that were paralyzed were in Aceh, while those in North Sumatra and West Sumatra were not directly affected by the disaster.Now dealers in Aceh have started operating.
AHM also provides free repair services for victims affected by the disaster.
“Replacement (components) are customized. Then we also have ERA services so that the motorbike can be picked up or the mechanic can come to the house,” said Octavianus.
The flood and landslide disaster in Sumatra resulted in the death toll of 442 people.
North Sumatra still records the highest death toll.A total of 217 people died in North Sumatra due to floods and landslides, then there were 209 missing and 16 injured.
Missing victims in North Sumatra also increased to 209 people after many reported missing families to officers at each regional command post.
Meanwhile, refugees are spread across several points, including 3,600 people in North Tapanuli, 1,659 people in Central Tapanuli, 4,661 people in South Tapanuli, 4,456 people in Sibolga City, 2,200 people in Humbang Hasundutan, and 1,378 people in Mandailing Natal.
In West Sumatra, 129 people died, 118 were missing and 16 were injured.
Turning to Aceh Province, as of yesterday afternoon, 96 people had died and 75 people were missing, spread across Bener Meriah, Central Aceh, Pidie Jaya, Bireuen, Southeast Aceh, North Aceh, East Aceh, Lhokseumawe, Gayo Lues, Subulussalam and Nagan Raya.
