November 2025 rose slightly by 0.3 percent to 74,252 units from October.From these results, Toyota is still the market leader, while Honda’s profits are getting smaller compared to the dominance of the Chinese brand, BYD.
In distribution data to dealers or wholesalers, Toyota led the market during November with 21,642 units, and Daihatsu followed in second place even though the results were far apart, namely 11,684 units.BYD managed to rank third with 9,481 units.
This Chinese brand has returned to occupying that position, while beating strong players from Japan such as Mitsubishi, Suzuki, especially Honda.

Honda was recorded in sixth position with distribution figures getting smaller, where October received 3,647 units, while November only got 3,031 units.

Perched in seventh position is Isuzu, then Fuso, while Wuling is in ninth position and Hino is in 10th position.
Meanwhile November retail rose 6.1 percent to 79,310 units, but in the previous month it was 74,720 units.
In the retail segment, the standings are not much different from Wholesales where BYD is in third place and Honda is still thrown into sixth position.
Target Gaikindo
Gaikindo had previously revised its target to 780 thousand units from the previous 900 thousand car units sold this year.This means that wholesale distribution is less than 70 thousand units, then from the retail side it is less than 41 thousand units to reach the new target.
However, this projection has dropped significantly, considering the weakening economic conditions and purchasing power of the people of the country.This figure is much, much smaller than wholesales from January to December 2024, which reached 865,723 units, while retail was 889,680 units.
